Proconsumer Association complained to the Secretary of Defense's Office of Consumer Fibertel by Cablevision and unfair to include the following:
"Termination: If you need to cancel any of our services must have their daily quota" .
This clause violates subsection h) of the Annex to Resolution No. 53/03 of the SDC and DC, which provides considered unfair to that "h) make the exercise of the right of contract termination by the consumer, prior to the cancellation of amounts owed to the supplier, in term contracts indeterminado o por plazo cierto que prevea la resolución anticipada ”.

“Si bien se cobran por adelantado los servicios de televisión por cable y de Internet prestados por las denunciadas, existen numerosos casos en que los usuarios acumulan algunos meses de deuda, sin permitírseles poder dar de baja dicho servicio hasta no abonar la totalidad de lo adeudado”, afirma Ricardo Nasio, Presidente de Proconsumer. Y agrega que: “Ambas prestadoras tienen otros medios legales para reclamar el pago de dichas deudas, sin necesidad de apartarse de los preceptos legales vigentes.”
