INCREASES GAS COSTS AND RIGHTS


The government has authorized the increase of the gas company Gas Natural BAN, which distributes between 1,300,000 gas customers in 30 matches in the north and west of Buenos Aires. This increase applies to all customers, commercial and residential. (The only exception are the dealers of CNG).

The increase for residential consumers will be 14%. In addition, there will be a retroactive adjustment by the consumption made since 1 November 2005 onwards. So, from January 2008 must be paid, in addition, 55 monthly payments retroactive to the differences between the old and the new tariff from November 2005 until March this year.
Meanwhile, the Government has not yet determined when it will implement the delayed social tariff for low income users.

Unable to do something about this increase, remember some user rights to the service of gas distribution networks:

- Right to receive optimal service and appropriate
- Right to receive information relating to the tariff
- In case of billing errors, will be entitled to appear before the distributor and have your complaint resolved on the first bill is issued after the 15 days of receipt of your claim.
- written law to settle claims in a book of complaints numbered and signed by the Enargas in all its offices to the public.
