The Provincial Council of Bizkaia is in full implementation of the works to reduce noise pollution in the highway A-8, and for this, will launch in a few days the placement of noise barriers in route passing through the town of Barakaldo. The placement tranche of these screens will have a length of 924 meters and will be the one that goes Santander-Bilbao effect, beginning at the height of the football field Retuerto and ending at the interchange Cruces.
Since the Regional Council has announced that soon will be released for bids placement of noise in the reverse direction, leaving completion of all the placement of screens in spring 2012.
